![]() ![]() I am convinced that the people who are complaining about the meals or flavours of meals, are sheltered white people who have never had a real ethnic meal in their life. Customer service issues is something I can't speak on because I have never had to contact customer service. The fact that you can't leave any feedback on their website is troubling, and the website itself is clunky to use when looking for nutrition info and comparing meals. Got a quick response from PC (within a day) apologizing and giving me a $13 credit. This was clearly from PC's end, not the shippers fault as outside of box was fine. Come home to find that one of the prepackaged meal trays was cracked and leaked into the inside packaging and onto the other meals. ![]() On the Tuesday after Labor Day I remember to go in to account to check shipping info to discover that the package had just been delivered. But now it's too late to order for the following week, so I put in an order for the next available week. But then a few days later, I get an email saying they are cancelling the entire order for some reason and gave me a $13 credit for my trouble. ![]() I was able to go in and change that out for something else, not too big of a deal. Next issue, I put in my order, then 2 days later received an email saying they needed to substitute one of the meals. They were dated to eat 6 days after I received them. No where on the site does it say you can't freeze the ready made meals, but when they came it says so on the packaging. I also figured that I would be able to freeze them. I had a gift card so I figured I would only be paying around $25 (out of pocket) for about 6 ready to eat meals for my work lunches. So now there will be a box of rotten food at an empty house, what a waste of my money and food! They obviously don't value customers or the food they deliver. I moved recently and chatted with customer service about getting a box at my new address, they said it was all set in my account, but then I saw the box was being sent to my old address where no one lives, I tried to have them redirect since it was still 7 days before delivery, but no, that was beyond their capability as a business who delivers food. Not a good value at all, plus having to contact customer service each time was a hassle. I would get some ingredients in the box that had gone bad about every other time, I would have missing ingredients in the box about 1 or 2 times a month, and missing whole meals I had purchased from the box about once a month in the last few months. I used purple carrot for a couple years off and on, mostly because I lived in a rural area with grocery stores that lacked much choice in vegan foods. I will be taking this up with my credit card company. I locked my credit card to prevent them from making any additional charges against my account. And they would take no responsibility for "my mistakes". The response was the same BS about my not being competent enough to enter my own address in the order. I emailed to explore a supervisor about the issue. And it was still a week until that supposed "order" would ship. And they would not provide any credit or refund. Then they told me my next order would be shipped to the same wrong address but I did not take responsibility to correct "my mistake". They granted me a "one time courtesy credit" to my account but not a refund. They admitted at one point that they get frequent complaints about this issue. Said it was totally my fault my order did not arrive. Said I sent the order to another address which was not my home address. I contacted them about the lost shipent and they accused me of trying to scam them. On delivery day I was notified my order had arrived. ![]()
